Universidad Católica de Santo Domingo (UCSD)

Founded on December 8, 1982, it is a non-profit Private Higher Education Institution , sponsored by the Catholic University Foundation, Inc. , with legal personality granted by Decree No. 2048 of June 1984.On August 29, 1983, with a group of 65 students, classes began at the University, in the Dominican Convent, the cradle of the First University of America.

The Catholic University Santo Domingo is an academic community that contributes to the development of human dignity and cultural heritage, whose university character is based on the search for truth and where young people are trained to progressively open up to reality, which It only requires knowledge and cultural values, but Christian values.

With 23 degrees and 12 master's degrees, Santo Domingo Catholic University is today one of the leading universities in the training of professionals committed to academic excellence, human values, scientific rigor, the ecosystem and social development. Focused on this commitment to society, the university has created spaces that contribute to the physical, emotional and personal development of individuals. Among these contributions are: the Rehabilitation Center, the Family Research and Sciences Center and the School for Graduates of Dentistry.
