About
CA 17 International was funded in 2000 in Charente-Maritime with the initial objective of highlighting French know-how in rural and local development, in particular on aspects of management of the sector by professionals and their representative organizations. (Consular bodies – Chambers of Agriculture and CCI, professional agricultural organisations, etc.). Since its creation, the company has distinguished itself from other offices operating in the sector (mainly based in Paris) by anchoring itself in a dynamic territory on the rural level and in terms of local development, which nourishes and inspires its interventions: the Charente -Maritime.
CA 17 International joined the CACG Group in October 2014. Operating in France and abroad since 1959, the CACG supports the territories for sustainable and personalized solutions in the fields of water, energy, agriculture and food.
In a context of climate change and increased pressure on natural resources, CACG 's expertise in water management and hydro-agricultural development combines with the knowledge and know-how of CA 17 International for a action as close as possible to the problems on the ground.
The two entities thus come together on the values of listening and sharing for long-term actions, in a process of transferring know-how and promoting local expertise.
The entry of CA 17 International into the CACG group enables it to take advantage of the human skills and know-how capitalized within the CACG to offer its clients a wider range of “in-house” expertise.
