Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC)

Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) is one of the world's leading energy producers and a primary catalyst for the growth and diversification of the Abu Dhabi economy. With a production capacity of more than 3.5 million barrels of oil per day and 10.5 billion cubic feet of natural gas per day, the company operates across the entire hydrocarbon value chain. ADNOC has a network of fully-integrated businesses for exploration, production, storage, refining, and trading, as well as the development of a wide range of petrochemical products.

ADNOC develops both onshore and offshore gas fields. The company operates two oil refineries, Ruwais and Umm Al Nar. ADNOC exports natural gas in the form of liquefied natural gas (LNG) in addition to producing supplies for local electricity and water utilities, to other domestic industries including petrochemicals plants, and for re-injection into reservoirs. 

ADNOC has 16 subsidiary companies in upstream, and downstream stages of production. The ADNOC's downstream industry, besides refining of petroleum crude oil and the processing and purifying of raw natural gas, includes marketing, logistics, production of nitrogen fertilizers, plastics and other products.
