GeoData Sierra Leone (SL) is a Geospatial and Environmental Services Company based in Freetown, Sierra Leone. The company has most of its resources based at its main office at 7 Macaulay Street, Murray Town, Freetown. We are resourced with high level expertise and modern tools and equipment; and we base our work on the principles of cost effectiveness, quality production, and client satisfaction.

We provide in this brochure the range of services we offer, the extensive experience and qualifications of our team members, our software and hardware resources, and our contact information.

Company Profile

GeoData SL evolved from GeoData International Consults, which was first registered in London in 2005. GeoData International Consults established a branch in Sierra Leone, registering as GeoData SL in 2007. It became the first national Geospatial firm, initially with just two members offering services mainly in Geographic Information Systems (GIS). It has since expanded and extended its services to:

• Spatial data acquisition and conversion;
• Remote sensing;
• Cadastre mapping and land surveying;
• Electronic data surveying and publishing;
• mHealth;
• Software engineering;
• Spatial database development;
• Environmental services including:
• Environmental Impact Assessments;
• formulation of Environmental and Social Management Plans, Resettlement Action Plans, and Community Development Action Plans;
• Rehabilitation of mined out areas included reforestation activities;
• solid liquid and household waste management;
• environmental auditing;
• Biodiversity conservation; and
• Climate Change.

We aim at working with a number of selected clients throughout Sierra Leone and the sub-region, and to build long term, mutually beneficial working relationships with these clients.
