About

The Warren County Arts Council was founded on April 20, 1999 to promote and increase appreciation for the arts in Warren County, North Carolina. Warren County is a rural county with a rich history, and home to several artistic traditions. From the vibrant quilting community in Warrenton, to the art and ceremony of the Haliwa-Saponi peoples in Hollister, we have a strong legacy of art to celebrate. In addition, the Arts Council seeks to include diverse and new artistic perspectives, and to fuse the old with the new.

Our Goals
The Warren County Arts Council wants to encourage people to create art for themselves! We have grants available for local artists and hands-on arts opportunities at movie nights and town festivals, culminating on Public Arts Day, which is a celebration of the arts in our local community.
