Program osnaživanja nezavisnih medija (IMEP) / The Independent Media Empowerment Program

The Independent Media Empowerment Program (IMEP) is a USAID five-year program implemented by the Center for the Promotion of Civil Society (CPCD) and the Open Network. IMEP supports media independence and freedom of expression in Bosnia and Herzegovina by strengthening media sustainability, raising the quality of media content, building the competencies of journalists, providing legal support to media and journalists, as well as actively involving citizens in the media space, with strong promotion of independent media voices in BiH .

Three interconnected components form the core of IMEP support:

Legal support for journalists
Promotion of independent journalism
