Humeltis Kft. Is the spin-off company of the University of Pécs, which is based on the production and application of the three-dimensional human lung tissue model patented by the university. The three-dimensional tissue models that underpin Humeltis technology faithfully reflect the in vivo environment in terms of their physiological parameters, modeling the function of human lung tissue with high efficiency. One of the key applications of the technology in the past has been drug research and development, exploiting the potential of the technology to reduce the toxicological and efficacy risks of drug candidate molecules in human clinical trials. Nowadays, when the world is all about personalized therapies, the use of Humeltis technology in personalized cancer medicine is gaining prominence.
