About
East-West Management Institute Inc. (EWMI) is a non-governmental organization that was founded in 1988. Our organization attempts to reinforce democratic associations by uniting governments, civil society and the private sector in order to construct responsible, proficient and straightforward foundations.
EWMI’s success is due to unique experience accumulated over 25 years in more than 30 countries. We execute ambitious projects by forming fruitful associations with regional public partners, worldwide donors and local NGOs. Some of EWMI’s donors include organizations such as USAID, the World Bank, the European Commission, RBF, Open Society Institute among others. Our multi-lingual staff are devoted to our close associates. EMWI’s abilities include judicial reforms, legal reforms, authoritative system changes, litigation, anti-corruption, transparency, judicial and legal education and last, but not least, access to justice. In the financial arena, our organization advocates international financial standards in developing countries. We offer guidance in accounting, anti-money laundering and corporate administration. Moreover, we support economic development, as well as promoting responsible environmental management. The main goal of EWMI is to establish caring institutions and democratic societies all over the world.
