SNV Nicaragua is based in Managua and has a dedicated team of over 30 staff and full-time consultants. The SNV Nicaragua team has expertise in a wide variety of areas including: Inclusive Business, agriculture, renewable energy, water and sanitation, governance and public policy, technical and vocational education, among other areas. Miguel Mendez provides leadership for SNV Nicaragua.

s SNV Nicaragua’s Country Representative, Miguel has increased SNV Nicaragua\'s externally funded programs by 300% in the last two years, creating a strong portfolio in agribusiness, renewable energy, financial services, and governance. A native of Honduras, he began his career with SNV in 2002 as an advisor in economic development, moving to Nicaragua in 2008 as a Program Manager and soon after was promoted to his current leadership position.
