Natural Resources Information Center / Centro de Información de Recursos Naturales (CIREN)

Natural Resources Information Center (CIREN ) is an institution with legal personality and private law that, has provided information on the country's natural and productive resources, through the use of geospatial technologies and applications. The result of the work has allowed to build the most important database related to georeferenced information on soils, water resources, climates, fruit and forest information that exist in Chile, as well as a complete registry of rural property. CIREN works to ensure quality in the provision of public goods and in the generation of new high-value products and services that contribute to the planning, decision-making and design of productive development and land use policies.
