About
The Malian Social Security Fund is a public administrative establishment endowed with legal personality and enjoying financial autonomy. It is placed under the supervision of the Ministry of Social Development, Solidarity and the Elderly. It participates in the execution of the government's social security policy. To this end, it provides benefits to beneficiaries of the plans and branches that it manages. We give you here the main stages of its journey.
As early as 1932 France set up a Caisse des Pensions de la France d'Outre-Mer.
In 1952, a Local Retirement Fund was created in AOF territory, headquartered in Dakar.
The mission of this Fund was to transfer and settle pensions. It will remain so until the accession of our country to independence.
It was precisely in 1961 that the Mali Retirement Fund was created by Law No. 61-70 / AN-RM of May 18, 1961, amended by Ordinance No. 79-7 / CMLN of January 18, 1979. It was in 1993 that the law N ° 93-013 / AN - RM of February 11, 1993, established the Mali Pension Fund as a National Public Establishment of an administrative nature.
