AET - Africa Educational Trust (Kenya)

Africa Educational Trust (AET) provides education to children and adults affected by conflict and poverty in Eastern Africa. AET supports building education systems that give all children the chance to learn as well as providing educational opportunities for people who have missed their chance to go to school. We currently operate in Somalia, South Sudan, Uganda and Kenya where we reach a quarter-of-a-million children and adults every year.

AET has over 50 years’ experience working within the education sector in Africa. As a specialist education organisation, we bring the best of globally recognised practise in education together with local expertise to develop innovative and effective approaches to bring education to regions where other organisations don’t go, reaching children and young people who would otherwise miss out on the chance to learn.
