Electrica Distributie Transilvania Nord – the main distribution operator in the North-Western part of Romania, was established in 2001. FDEE Electrica Distributie Transilvania Nord functions under the present legal form since August 1st 2007, after being one of the SC ELECTRICA SA subsidiaries. It resulted from the partial split of FDFEE Electrica Transilvania Nord into two different companies with separate activities: electric power supply and distribution. The company distributes electricity in the counties: Bihor, Bistrita-Nasaud, Cluj, Maramures, Satu Mare and Salaj. The main activity of the company is the distribution of electric power.
