Main One is a wholly owned African company officially established and launched in February 2008 to ameliorate connectivity challenges of businesses across Africa. This marked the beginning of positive change in several countries in West Africa with the availability of wholesale broadband internet overcoming the communication challenges limiting African countries from being truly global players.

The company was established with a Pan-African vision to build a private sector-led and funded international telecommunications submarine cable between Africa and the rest of the world.

Main One is West Africa’s leading and largest Tier-1 communications service company providing high quality, affordable international connectivity and broadband capacity through the sale of open access wholesale bandwidth and associated services since July 2010.

Main One has built an undersea Fibre optic cable network system connecting West Africa to the rest of the world via Europe. Our high capacity network provides reliable and first class service delivery that can be measured against international standards ensuring broadband capacity is easily available and accessible to all within West Africa for regional and international operators as well as service providers.

With existing pioneer fiber optic cable licenses in Nigeria and Ghana, Main One is the preferred communications services and wholesale international bandwidth provider in the West Coast of Africa.
