Estuar Foundation

Estuar Foundation was founded in September 1993 by the Association Penumbra from Scotland and Romanian League for Mental Health. Estuar Foundation has been active for 20 years in the mental health field and has been offering social options and alternatives to adults with mental health problems, for their reintegration into the community. The number of people who received support from ESTUAR Foundation has increased from year to year.

In 2012 it came to support a total of 1612 people with mental health problems. Through social centers in Bucharest, Giurgiu, Ploiesti, Cluj, protected housing, the local branch of Botosani, and through counselling services at home, our users have improved their lives and we have given them the opportunity to live a decent and independent life. Thus, each help received can change a life. We are here to solve the problems and fears of adults with mental health problems and to help when others can not.
