Université de Gafsa (UGAF)

Created on July 16, 2004 (Decree n ° 2012 of September 2, 2004), the University of Gafsa (UGAF ) is a public administrative establishment, endowed with legal personality and financial autonomy. Since its creation, the University of Gafsa has not ceased to open up to new areas of training and research, while strongly maintaining its universal values such as the creation and dissemination of knowledge, openness to the outside world, preparation for the integration of students into professional and civic life, wide dissemination of the culture of freedom and equal opportunities.

The University of Gafsa geographically covers two governorates namely Gafsa and Tozeur and it is distinguished by its intellectual heritage, a quality education covering most of the fields of sciences, languages and engineering techniques as well as by research quality. The University of Gafsa offers training courses organized according to the principle of the LMD system.
