Kids in Action

"Kids in action" is an urban non-profit company based in Thessaloniki and was created in 2003 by young people who have worked in children's camps and engaged in alternative forms of art, entertainment and animation. The realization that not all children are equal opportunities in entertainment and the need for expression of young people living and working in the city of Thessaloniki, led the young people of the group to perform voluntary performances for children from disadvantaged backgrounds (cultural, social, economic, geographical), in actions for the urban landscape, young people, the promotion of non-widespread art forms. and the recognition of non-formal learning.

The main objectives of the organization are:

• The active participation of young people in the daily development and upgrading of their quality of life.
• The promotion and recognition of the value of non-formal learning.
• The promotion of the idea of volunteerism, solidarity and peaceful coexistence of people.
• The dissemination of alternative art forms (circus, street theater).
