About
To support WRI Africa’s growing presence in the region, we have registered to open a new office in the Kenyan capital, Nairobi. Kenya is one of the most important countries in the region, home to major UN and mulitialteral organizations, and an important regional transportation, media and communications hub.
Nairobi is also home to WRI Vice President and Regional Director Wanjira Mathai and a growing number of newly hired senior managers, including a recently hired global governance director and a WRI Africa lead for Research, Data and Innovation (RDI). WRI Africa’s regional hub, including oversight of operations and human resources, will continue to be in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
