The justifications for the existence of ideas for educational and cultural development stem from the state of the educational system in Palestine and its response to provide measures and opportunities to meet the increasing challenges and needs of the quality of education on the one hand, as well as providing a space for the elements of the educational process to practice values and positive trends and enhance them with life skills.

Afkar Foundation for educational and cultural development is considered the first in non-governmental institutions that combines education and culture in formulating its strategy, and considers their development as two essential and complementary elements to bring about positive change in the patterns of behavior and thinking prevailing among cultural and educational institutions in Palestine.
