Independent Minds Association

Independent Minds Association (IMA) is a youth-based advocacy and development organisation established in 2015, but formally registered with the Registrar General Department of Ghana in 2017 (Reg. No. CG111512017). Starting from a meager and informal contribution in support of a young girl in Kulgona who could not afford to further her education due to lack funds, the association has since expanded its operations to advocate for improved quality education in rural areas, improved Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) services, enhance sustainable agriculture, environmental protection as well as promoting peace, security and rights of vulnerable in Northern Ghana. The Association builds and mentors the minds of the community stakeholders especially women, children, youthto unearth their hidden potentials and lessen their vulnerability.
