We are a special purpose district created by local voters in 1956. The District provides flood control and urban stormwater services within a 399 square-mile watershed located between the Kings and San Joaquin Rivers. The District is responsible for flood control, urban storm drainage, groundwater recharge, recreation/open space and stormwater quality.
