SUEZ Consulting (former SAFEGE)

For more than 60 years SAFEGE has built its history both in Europe and on the wider international stage, applying its pioneering spirit to the challenges of infrastructure development.

SAFEGE starts life in 1919 as the Société Auxiliaire Française d'Électricité, Gaz et Eau, a holding company managing interests in water, gas and electricity utilities. With the nationalisation of energy in 1947, the company moves into the consulting engineering business as the Société Anonyme Française d'Études, de Gestion et d'Entreprises then Société Anonyme Française d'Études et de Gestion in 1965, before taking its present name, SAFEGE, under which it continues to grow as a designer, engineer and innovator.

SUEZ Çanakkale Waste Services Inc. is the concessionaire of the Integrated Solid Waste Management in the ÇAKAB basin within the scope of the 29-year Concession Agreement signed with Çanakkale Solid Waste Management Association (ÇAKAB) on 02/01/2019.
In line with the zero waste targets in Turkey, it is aimed to provide advanced recovery from both the packages collected separately at the source and the materials separated from the mixed garbage in order to reduce the amount of waste stored and to ensure that the storage facility can serve for many years.
SUEZ Çanakkale, which undertakes the responsibility of Design-Build-Operation and Finance, carries out waste management in an integrated manner within the scope of the project and is responsible for collection, transportation, pre-treatment, recovery and disposal processes.
