Shri Ram Group of Industries is a consortium of several companies which deals in various products. The leading companies are involved in the engineering, manufacturing and marketing of Electrical Engineering products like Transformers, Switchgears, Panels and other related products. The group companies also undertake Engineering, Procurement & Construction (EPC) contracts in Power Transmission & Distribution sector. Shri Ram Group Of Industries also has interests in Agro based industry mainly in Organic Farming and Sustainable Agriculture. The trading arm of the group is engaged in dealing with electrical, electronics and consumer durable products like Air Conditioners, LED Tvs, Industrial coolers fans etc. The Company also has divisions handling Finance and Leasing, Construction and Real estate.

Shri Ram Group of Industries started its operation in the year 1956 as a trading house under the guidance of Late Shri Shiv Kumar Jhalani (Ex-MLA & Ex- Chairman of Maulana Azad University). It gradually entered into the field of Electrical Engineering-Manufacturing by setting up its first Manufacturing unit in Ratlam in the year 1966. In the year 1985 Shri Ram Group of Industries widened its base and started operations in Maharashtra by setting up a plant in Akola. Shri Ram Group Of Industries has always been a frontrunner in adapting technology ahead of its times. In the year 1999 Shri Ram Group of Industries set up a state of art plant in Akola to manufacture Dry Type Transformers and EHV Transformers upto 132 kV Class. Today the group has four manufacturing plant in Ratlam (M.P.) and two in Akola (Mah). All these plant are centrally located to cater to the demands of India and the world. The Group has offices in Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Pune, Indore and Bhopal.
