IFJD - Institut Louis Joinet

Created in 2013, the IFJD – Institut Louis Joinet has experienced steady development since then. Born under the name of Institut Universitaire Varenne, it became in 2018, by absorbing the Francophone Association of Transitional Justice which it had helped to create, the Francophone Institute for Justice and Democracy and, finally, the IFJD – Institut Louis Joinet in 2019. From 2015, he moved to premises made available by the University of Pau and Pays de l'Adour with which he entered into a partnership agreement. In 2019, the IFJD opened a permanent office in Bangui, CAR, where it is registered as an NGO.
