Kalmar Vatten AB is owned by Kalmar municipal corporation AB, which in turn is owned by Kalmar municipality. We currently have 110 employees. Kalmar Vatten's mission is to produce and distribute drinking water and clean wastewater before it is discharged into the Kalmar Sound. We also handle stormwater management.

We work long-term to meet customers' needs for high-quality drinking water (food) and take care of and clean wastewater (wastewater and stormwater). The work is carried out in a sustainable way with great environmental consideration, high cost efficiency and good service.
