SFERE is a French consulting organisation created in 1984, specialising in education, training and HRD, and exclusively dedicated to transition countries.

For 30 years, and through more than 600 projects in 73 countries in Asia, Latin America, Eastern Europe, Africa and Middle East, we have been providing our partners with our experience and know how in the design and realisation of development projects dealing with the creation, reform and modernization of educational systems, and the development of human resource.

In addition, SFERE also has a long lasting experience in the implementation and management of overseas scholarship programs: through SFERE, more than 19,000 lecturers, researchers, engineers and executives have been trained in France, including 75% at PhD level.

Our main partners are public organisations in charge of social and economic development (ministries, universities, government agencies, etc.), private companies (oil & gas, telecom…), foundations, etc. 

We work under multilateral and bilateral organisations funded projects (WB, ADB, IDB, EU, AFD, etc.), or through direct contracts with companies and foreign governments.
