About

Contribute to the consolidation of the Central American economic integration process and its insertion into international markets, through the best team of collaborators dedicated to technical support, knowledge management, and efficient and transparent execution of resources.

The Central American Economic Integration Secretariat (SIECA) is the technical and administrative body of the Central American Economic Integration Process, with legal personality under international law. It has functional autonomy, serving as a liaison for the actions of the other Secretariats of the Economic Subsystem and coordinates with the General Secretariat of the Central American Integration System (SICA).

SIECA ensures the correct application of the Protocol to the General Treaty of Central American Economic Integration (Guatemala Protocol) and other legal instruments of regional economic integration, as well as the execution of the decisions of the organs of the Economic Subsystem.
