In Tympaki, in a coastal part south of Heraklion and in an area with a very long tradition in the cultivation of greenhouse vegetables and olive oil, the Agricultural Fruit and Vegetable Olive Cooperative of Tympaki was founded in 1945. The cooperative has been operating since 2010 as a recognized Producers Group with 134 members today, who are experienced and certified growers. The total number of members of the cooperative is 540.
