About

PPI (People Power Inclusion) is a non-governmental organisation committed to entrepreneurship and the positive economy. It operates in more than 20 countries between Africa and the Middle East.

Among the 2 million direct beneficiaries of its programmes, the majority are women and young people who are the most exposed to educational and economic insecurity. Its 14 current projects aim to strengthen the socio-economic resilience of populations excluded from traditional education and employment channels, through three main areas of work: financial inclusion, entrepreneurship, market inclusion and inclusive value chains. PPI's effectiveness is due to its many local staff and experts who work directly with vulnerable populations. All this is made possible by its strong presence in the field, through 6 permanent offices in Senegal, Burkina Faso, Ivory Coast, Cameroon, Egypt and Madagascar.

The NGO PPI, until then a branch of the Positive Planet collective, founded in 1998 by Jacques Attali, is joining the GROUPE SOS, in order to perpetuate its activities: preventing the emergence and persistence of precarious situations in the least developed countries. PPI and GROUPE SOS are working together to facilitate this transition.
