RomanoNet

RomanoNet, zs, was established in February 2017 in order to cover and coordinate the cooperation of non-governmental and non-profit organizations working with the Roma minority in the Czech Republic. RomanoNet's mission is to promote an integration policy that emphasizes respect for human rights, equality, Roma participation in public life and their involvement in decision-making processes.

The aim of Romanonet is to share experiences and promote good practice that leads to the improvement of the position of the Roma in the Czech Republic. As part of its activities, it monitors systemic measures that have an impact on the lives of Roma at the local, national and European levels. Romanonet is the first Roma think tank in the Czech Republic. In the years 2017-2020, member organizations and their experts participated in the preparation of Civil Society Monitoring Reports on the Implementation of the National Strategy for Roma Integration in the Czech Republic. This report is the basis for negotiating and promoting changes in the setting of integration policy and targeting measures and calls for financing projects for the integration of Roma and socially disadvantaged people in the years 2020-2030.
