AEND Asociacion Española de Ensayos No Destructivos

The Spanish Association for Non-Destructive Testing, hereinafter AEND, is a non-profit, civil Association of an indefinite duration, with its own legal personality, which brings together the different natural and legal persons related to non-destructive testing. It was constituted on September 27, 1988, in an Assembly held during the acts of the VI CEND Congress in Vigo, and registered in the Registry of Associations on January 25, 1989, once the procedures required by law had been carried out. December 1997 CERTIAEND (Certification Body of the AEND), was accredited by the National Accreditation Entity (ENAC), for the certification of personnel in Non-Destructive Testing in accordance with the UNE EN-473:1993 Standard.
One of the purposes of the AEND is to promote professional improvement and permanent training in the field of Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), as well as to facilitate the teaching of said techniques at all levels and for all kinds of public and private entities, as well as independent professionals.

It includes studies, courses, meetings, seminars, symposiums, congresses and exchanges of information, documentation and publications of all kinds in relation to Non-Destructive Testing and its development systems.

Certification: Certification of personnel in Non-Destructive Testing.
Training: Give and organize courses and seminars on Non-Destructive Testing.
Dissemination: Publication of a Bulletin on Non-Destructive Testing.
