Murmansk Arctic State University is one the northernmost universities in the world and the oldest university of Russian circumpolar area.

We strive for being a university as diverse as the Arctic itself: our research, education, and other activities cover a wide spectrum of topics and ideas. In 2021 MASU headed the 2nd category of Russian research institutions being ahead of nearly all other Russian universities in the Arctic region. At the time being, we are providing Murmansk region with 100% of higher education training programs in Medicine, Education, Arts and Humanities, Culture, as well as with nearly 70% of training in Social studies, over 50% in Mathematics and Natural sciences, and around 20% — in Engineering and technologies.
