Our programs in Latin America and the Caribbean engage public, private sector, and civil society partners to solve complex development problems that matter most to people regardless of age, gender, and ethnicity. Through tailored approaches, knowledge-sharing, and local partnerships, we assist national stakeholders in their efforts to achieve self-reliance. Collaboratively, we help protect biodiversity in Guatemala and combat illegal mining in Colombia, addressing top environmental priorities. From consolidating citizen security and combating human rights abuses in Mexico, to strengthening integrity in Peru, we advance the rule of law. And we make sure no one is left behind, offering new avenues for social and economic empowerment of marginalized and migrant communities, including through access to finance in Colombia.
