Fakultní Thomayerova nemocnic/ Thomayer University Hospital

The Faculty Thomayer Hospital provides comprehensive medical and nursing care. Patients are provided with the necessary basic, specialized and specially specialized medical and diagnostic care, as well as outpatient services. FTN carries out basic and clinical research, implementation and verification of new methods, participates in the clinical evaluation of medicines and the verification of medical devices. It enables professional practical teaching of secondary, higher and university students.

Nursing care is based on the principles of modern nursing, especially the nursing process, focused on disease prevention, counseling and patient education. The specialist workplaces of the hospital are the teaching bases of the medical, pharmaceutical and other faculties, and in cooperation with the 1st Faculty of Medicine of the UK and the 3rd Faculty of Medicine of the UK, it participates in the undergraduate teaching of students of the Faculty of Medicine at selected workplaces.
