Malani Padayachee & Associates (Pty) Ltd (MPA), with co-investment from holding company Motseng Women Investments (Pty) Ltd (Motseng) acquired 100% equity in engineering and development firm Mott MacDonald Africa (Pty) Ltd, the South African subsidiary of Mott MacDonald. As first mover recognising the challenges and opportunities facing the industry, MPAMOT is the largest 100% black women owned engineering and infrastructure development consulting firm of its size, capacity, and capability in South Africa.
In South Africa, we've been working with government and nongovernment organizations to create long-lasting solutions across a range of sectors: from transport, education, and health, to buildings, power, and communications.
In 2013, Mott MacDonald acquired the Johannesburg-based engineering specialist PD Naidoo & Associates and established Mott MacDonald PDNA. By combining our complementary skills, experience, and capabilities, we offer a single-source, end-to-end service capable of delivering the complex next-generation projects that will improve Africa’s social and economic success.
