Passion of Hope International

Passion of Hope International is a USA registered non-governmental organization with hubs in Nakuru, Kenya and Ilorin, Nigeria. Working at a grassroots level, we serve to be catalysts empowering marginalized communities towards food sovereignty, improved livelihoods, health, education, and wellbeing. Our focus is Africa where we are effectively impacting UN Sustainable Development Goals #1 through #6. Programs to strenthen rural capacity include: water and sanitation for schools and households, health clinics, and implementing organic farming at the small-holder farmer level. These are our feet on the ground.  In the cloud, we are using the power of connection through the Chakula Bora Digital Network to link farmers, extension officers, researchers, traders, youth, financiers, and many more around sustainable and regenerative agriculture. The goal is locally-produced healthy food, from farm to fork.

We are thought leaders and advocates for innovative agriculture across the continent of Africa. Our Kilimo Bunifu program begins with a 'Triple P' focus on planet, people, and profit to raise the productivity of the most marginalized.  Our workshops, podcasts, and speaker series examines poverty's complex layers, including youth employment, restoring ecological biodiversity, food sovereigny, and education.
