Otto per Mille Valdese

The Otto per Mille of the Waldensian and Methodist churches goes only to social, cultural and welfare works. 

In 1994 the Waldensian Church agreed to receive a share of 8×1000 of the IRPEF as foreseen by the law which regulates the Agreements between the Italian State and the religious confessions. Since the Waldensian Church has chosen not to use this money to finance its religious activities, it has set up an Office that evaluates the projects to which these funds should be allocated . The projects are not managed exclusively by the diaconal structures of the Waldensian and Methodist churches, but can also be proposed by organizations and other non-profit organizations .

All funds received are used to finance social and health assistance projects, educational, cultural and integration interventions, development support programs and response to humanitarian, environmental and climate emergencies, provided that they bring benefits to a community and are non-profit .
