About

Partners Global (formerly Partners for Democratic Change) and our global network of professionals support visionary leaders and create pioneering partnerships between communities, governments, and corporations to achieve conflict transformation, democratic change, and sustainable development. We achieve this through the use of locally adapted approaches to collaborative advocacy, public participation, stakeholder engagement, and consensus facilitation.

In 1989, Raymond Shonholtz established Partners Global dedicated to building sustainable local capacity to advance civil society and a culture of sustainable change and conflict transformation worldwide.

Nearly 25 years later, that dedication lives on.

In 2006, Partners Global became a founding member of the Partners Global network, a global partnership of local Centers that we have helped to build and develop sustainably. We have been an avid supporter, driver and catalyst for the network’s health, sustainability and growth ever since.

With a global, local network, working together, Partners Global continues to build partnerships in countries and regions throughout with the vision where all of us – communities, governments and businesses – are partners for sustainable and democratic change.
