Caritas Murang'a

Caritas Murang’a is guided by policies and ethos of the Catholic Diocese of Murang’a and the Catholic Social Teachings. As a faith-based organization, we work closely with communities of “people made poor,” improving their socio-cultural, political and economic livelihoods. We integrate a rights-based approach to development, facilitating local communities to gain power and voice to challenge systems and structures of oppression and bad governance, thereby enhancing their meaningful participation in championing the course for their individual and collective integral development.
