It is up to the Ministry of Economy and Public Services, to assist the Governor of the Province, in all matters concerning fiscal policy, parafiscal administration of the assets of the Province and, in particular:

• understand in the elaboration of the General Budget of the Government of the Province, the execution of budgetary policy and public accounting, supervision of expenditures and investments and the formulation of the General Account for the Year.
• Understand the subsystems of the integrated system of financial administration, treasury, budget, accounting, public credit and provincial public investment.
• Understand in the collection of the income of the Province and in the formulation, regulation, execution and control of the tax policy, seeking the highest degree of tax equity and the expansion of the tax universe.
• Establish programming and financial planning mechanisms in order to generate predictability for those who interact with the State.
• Understand the application of the Procurement System of the Province.
• Understand the development of statistics, censuses and research.
