Cluster Energia Basilicata is the Lucanian aggregator for economic players operating in the energy sector.

Together with companies, universities, research centers and public and private organizations, we create opportunities for technological and innovative development for the entire economic system of Basilicata.

The Basilicata Energy Cluster deals with promotion, research and innovation also connected to activities of particular social interest.

The formation and promotion of entrepreneurial culture in the energy sector are the starting points for the creation of networks with other consortia, companies, associations and national and international bodies. For the creation of scientific, technical and economic partnerships. For the promotion and implementation of joint programs and projects.

The Basilicata Energy Cluster supports the birth in Basilicata of entrepreneurial initiatives in the sector and undertakes to transfer the results of its work to its members, also enhancing the complementarity and favoring the synergy of the activities carried out by them.

Concrete actions to support the energy sector.
To pursue these goals, we implement specific actions to encourage development, collaboration and interaction between public and private subjects.

We encourage the aggregation of members to seize the opportunities offered by the 2014-2020 cohesion policy (ERDF, PON and others) and funds directly managed by the European Commission, such as Horizon 2020 or Cosmec.

We work to disseminate information on energy issues, in its broadest sense, with meetings, events, conferences, as well as listening to and collecting technical proposals, in the interest of members and potential consumers.

We participate in national clusters and promote interactions and synergies between subjects carrying out research activities and their possible applications. The objective is to strengthen, in particular, the connection between the universities and research centers operating in Basilicata, on the one hand, and the regional entrepreneurial system on the other.

Finally, we are dedicated to openness and constant interaction with regional and national policy makers, in defining energy development plans consistent with national policy and compatible with local needs.
