Launched on 1 April 2019, East Suffolk Council is a brand new local authority replacing Suffolk Coastal and Waveney.

In January 2017, the two previous councils agreed to create a new, ‘super district’, to deliver services to communities across east Suffolk and now, after 11 years working in partnership the two have become one.

The new East Suffolk Council is delivering essential services for the communities of east Suffolk, including housing, refuse collections and planning.
