Renewable Energy Norway Network (Ren AS)

The REN Network was established in 2016 with a vision to create an internationally recognized and sought-after brand of Norwegian renewable energy. The network aims to contribute to green growth and value-creation based on Norway’s natural advantages related to renewable energy resources, specifically through the use of Guarantees of Origin system.

Renewable energy is an increasingly important asset and a source of competitive advantage for Norway. The global energy market is still in the process of developing instruments that will help to take a better account of the energy consumed and facilitate switch to the clean energy. European power markets are now undergoing restructuring that provides both new challenges and opportunities for Norway.
