About

Our mission is to make people, in situations of vulnerability or humanitarian emergency, protagonists of their own development, their family and community, through social projects in different areas.
From January to December 2021, we developed 31 projects, with the commitment of 461 employees, directly benefiting 462 thousand people, with a social investment of R$ 78.1 million in 8 transversal themes:
• Water and Food Security;
• Inclusive and Resilient Cities;
• Energy and Environment;
• Justice and Violence Prevention;
• Migration and Refuge;
• Multisector Partnerships;
• Socio-educational;
• Labor and Economic Growth.
To carry out these initiatives, AVSI Brasil builds alliances with three types of partners and funders: companies, the public sector and international cooperation organizations.
We currently have employees in 11 states (Amazonas, Bahia, Goiás, Minas Gerais, Pernambuco, Piauí, Rio Grande do Norte, Rio de Janeiro, Roraima, Santa Catarina and São Paulo) and in the Federal District.
