Phoenix Center for Research and Field Studies

The Phoenix Center for Research and Field Studies is an independent, non-profit Palestinian research institution affiliated with the University of Gaza. It specializes in policies, research, and field studies in the fields of humanities. The center operates according to articles 3, 4, and 36 of Decree-Law No. (6) of 2018 regarding higher education. The center enjoys a legal personality and has an independent financial liability, and it has the right to own movable and immovable funds and to dispose of it within the limits of achieving its objectives, according to the financial regulations followed at the University of Gaza.

The center was established in line with its responsibility towards the Palestinian communities to meet their political, economic and social needs by providing services that empower them at the individual, community and international levels. The center adopts the methodology of collecting quantitative and qualitative data together in order to obtain accurate information that reflects the opinion of the community, and the center analyzes this data by converting it into tangible materials to take the necessary measures, as the center is able to implement all types of research and field studies that achieve the vision of the center.
