UFeC / 2ABCD - Union des Femmes Conseillères Communales des Départements de L’Alibori, de L’Atacora, du Borgou, des Collines et de la Donga

In the aftermath of the 2008 communal elections, the women elected councilors in the departments of Alibori, Borgou and Collines realized that they did not have the possibility of achieving everything they wanted for the benefit of their populations. Hence the need for association. Thus, the UFeC/ABC was born following the constitutive GA held on June 27, 2009 in Parakou with the technical and financial support of the Swiss Cooperation in Benin. 

Vision: the UFeC/ABC will be a strong and dynamic organization with the means of sustainable action for the promotion of female leadership.
