In response to rising levels of violence against aid workers worldwide, INSO\'s core mission is to assist humanitarian agencies in conducting their operations safely and to minimise the risks faced by their staff and beneficiaries.

We achieve this through the operation of NGO Safety Offices (NSO) - which work on the ground alongside our NGO partners in violent or insecure contexts - to provide high quality, real-time information and analysis of the local safety conditions.

INSO aims to support informed decision making, by improving agencies immediate situational awareness, and to defend impartial humanitarian action by providing information that is free from a political agenda.
