 Burgenland Energie AG is an innovation-driven Austrian energy service company that invests heavily in the expansion of renewable energies. The company with around 920 employees has its headquarters in Eisenstadt and is the Austrian market leader in the field of wind power. It is 51 percent owned by Landesholding Burgenland GmbH and 49 percent by Burgenland Holding AG. With targeted investments in wind power and photovoltaics, the company wants to make Burgenland climate-neutral by 2030.
