About
The Directorate General of Stabilization and Equalization Funds in Gabon, abbreviated DGCSP and commonly called CAISTAB, is a public institution with legal personality and financial autonomy. It was created by decree n°831/MINECOFIN of September 30, 1971.
Placed under the supervision of the Ministry in charge of the Economy. The DGCSP is structured around two main technical departments, the Cocoa/Coffee Fund Department and the Hydrocarbons Fund Department. The other components of its organization chart are: The Human Resources Department, The Financial Department and The Accounting Agency.
CAISTAB'S MISSIONS
In order to sustainably revitalize the economic sectors in which it operates, Caistab has set itself ambitious objectives for the cocoa-coffee sector and intends to mobilize its resources to:
- sustainably relaunch the promising cocoa/coffee sector;
- extend the national equalization system to gas and fishing diesel;
- consider returning to equalization on flour.
