Mission
Tearfund helps people to rise from poverty and injustice. They provide help worldwide through local organizations and churches. Doing justice is a command from God for us. They help where they can and encourage people to make the world a better place.

Vision
Tearfund works towards a world without injustice and poverty in which people know their own worth and talents and use them in the local community. For example, we support projects that build social connection and improved living conditions. Together with local partners, we achieve sustainable local changes. We focus on the poorest of the poor, without making any distinction according to ethnic origin, religion, gender or political affiliation.

In the Netherlands we challenge people to take responsibility for our prosperity, to connect with people who live in poverty due to injustice, climate and natural disasters and to adjust our lifestyle so that the consequences do not only fall on the weakest shoulders. They do this with the help of campaigns and action models.
